Hello, I am Jesmar from Ta' Xbiex, Malta, and I am a Pro Photographer, Graphic Designer as well as Video Editor.

 

My passion for photography started at a young age when I bought my first film SLR camera. By then, I used to randomly shoot various subjects mainly nature & landscapes to understand composition, exposure, and the combination between ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed to produce the perfect picture for me. A couple of years ago I got my first Diploma in Photography which helped me consolidate my knowledge, in theory, the fundamentals of photography and visual content, and put them into practice. My goal is to produce images pleasing to the eye with natural vibrant colors as possible. I also use other techniques to show motion, detail, drama & beauty in my stills. Skillsets, technique, and some basic rules are vital for the best moment capture of my subject image. In my personal opinion, two important factors which I believe in, and also helped me in my profession as a photographer are:

1. I shoot the image in Raw as proper and pro as I can so I will be having less editing time in the post-production procedure. That means more time for me to go out and shoot more. 2. Photography is a form of art, and like all forms of art, it is very subjective. In other words, my photography is based on my own perceptions rather than the opinions of others. I strive to be creative with my own mind showcase my feelings and tell a story through photography and other visual media.

WHY JESMARAW ? My concept of photography is that I capture what I see or perceive at that very moment.  As per techniques used in various shoots, I use particular lens-on filters. HDR effect is also used where I find it appropriate. In other words, what I see in the very moment, or I wait for the right moment, is what you are going to get in

my photographic visuals. - Hence the name JesmaRaw.
